In most organizations, users are identified differently across different applications. Centralized provisioning mechanisms have only recently been adopted by most organizations. As such, it is an extremely complex and daunting task for organizations to have a single identifier system that can correlate user identities from disparate systems and also maintain user identity data. Securonix Identity Matcher can aggregate user identity data from multiple repositories and build a master view of key user identity data. It can also generate a global identifier for each user based on industry best security practices.
Securonix Identity Matcher uses advanced correlation rules that incorporate logic to perform hierarchical attribute matching, attribute joining and attribute disintegration matching, fat fingering detection and phonetics (sounds-like) matching. If our algorithms do not find an exact match, a
list of suggested matches are returned back for easy matching mechanism. These suggested matches are sorted by our algorithms with the most probable match being on top to make it easier for administrators to select the right match.
Organizations struggle with proper management of application ids, system ids, shared administrative ids and firecall ids which are so critical for the functioning of most applications. Our
Identity Matcher technology incorporates mechanisms to detect these identities and manage them appropriately.
