Chris Inglis

Advisory Board Chairman

John C. (Chris) Inglis is a former Deputy Director of the National Security Agency. He began his career at the NSA as a computer scientist within the National Computer Security Center and was promoted to the agency’s Senior Executive Service in 1997. He served in a variety of senior leadership assignments including Chief Operating Officer and was responsible for guiding strategy, operations and policy.

A 1976 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Inglis holds advanced degrees in engineering and computer science from Columbia University, Johns Hopkins University, and the George Washington University. He is also a graduate of the Kellogg Business School executive development program, the USAF Air War College, Air Command and Staff College and Squadron Officers’ School.

Michael Chertoff

As Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2005 to 2009, Michael Chertoff led the country in blocking would-be terrorists from crossing our borders or implementing their plans if they were already in the country. He also transformed FEMA into an effective organization following Hurricane Katrina. His greatest successes have earned few headlines – because the important news is what didn’t happen.

Before heading up the Department of Homeland Security, Chertoff served as a federal judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Earlier, during more than a decade as a federal prosecutor, he investigated and prosecuted cases of political corruption, organized crime, corporate fraud and terrorism – including the investigation of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Chertoff is Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of The Chertoff Group, a global advisory firm focused exclusively on the security and risk management sector. Chertoff provides high-level strategic counsel to corporate and government leaders on a broad range of security issues, from risk identification and prevention to preparedness, response and recovery.

In addition to his role at The Chertoff Group, Chertoff is also senior of counsel at Covington & Burling LLP, and a member of the firm’s white collar defense and investigations practice group.

Mike McConnell

Mike McConnell was appointed Director of National Intelligence (DNI) under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama and served as a member of the National Security Council managing the US Intelligence Community’s global engagement in support of US and allied national security objectives. As DNI, McConnell was successful in persuading the President and the Congress to invest over $17B in improving cyber security defenses of the nation.

McConnell is a Senior Executive Advisor and former Vice Chairman of Booz Allen Hamilton, where his primary roles included serving on the firm’s leadership team and leading Booz Allen’s cyber security business. McConnell led the development of the firm’s information assurance business and intelligence business focused on policy, transformation, homeland security, and intelligence analytics.

McConnell’s career spans over 40 years focused on international development and foreign intelligence issues. His 29-year career as a US Navy intelligence officer included significant assignments that impacted national security issues. During Desert Shield/Storm and the dissolution of the Soviet Union, McConnell served as the Intelligence Officer for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Colin Powell, and the Secretary of Defense, Dick Cheney. From 1992 to 1996 he served as the Director of the National Security Agency (DIRNSA) under Presidents George H.W. Bush and William J. Clinton.

McConnell has twice received the nation’s highest award for service in the Intelligence Community. He has also served as Chairman and CEO of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA). He is the 2011 recipient of INSA’s William Oliver Baker Award, which is awarded annually for sustained and excellent service in intelligence and national security.

Jim Rosenthal

Jim Rosenthal is Chief Operating Officer of Morgan Stanley. He is also Chairman and CEO of Morgan Stanley Bank, N.A. (MSBNA) and Chairman of Morgan Stanley Private Bank, National Association (MSPBNA). Rosenthal has responsibility for overseeing firm-wide operations, technology and data, digital strategy, re-engineering and expense management, and corporate services. Rosenthal assumed his current role in January 2011 and continues to serve as Head of Corporate Strategy for Morgan Stanley, a position he has held since January 2010.

Rosenthal has more than two decades of experience across a wide spectrum of financial services. He joined the firm in March 2008 from the global real estate company Tishman Speyer where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, he worked at Lehman Brothers from 1999 to 2005, where he was Head of Corporate Strategy and Corporate Development and a member of the management committee. Rosenthal was with McKinsey & Company from 1986 to 1999, where he was a senior partner specializing in financial institutions.

Rosenthal is a board member of Markit, a global financial information services company, and a trustee of Lincoln Center. He served on the board of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) from 2013-2015, where he was Chair from 2013-2014.
Rosenthal has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University and a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School.

Art Money

The Honorable Arthur L. Money became Assistant Secretary of Defense for Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence ASD (C3I)in Feb 1998. Prior to his Senate confirmation as the ASD C3I, Money served as the Senior Civilian Official of Office of the ASD C3I. He also served as the Department of Defense (DOD) Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Money served as Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Research, Development and Acquisition (also a Senate confirmed position), and as CIO of the Air Force from January 1996 to February 1998.

Prior to his Federal Government duties, he was President of ESL Inc., a subsidiary of TRW. Money then became Vice President and Deputy General Manager for the TRW Avionics and Surveillance Group.

Money has more than 50 years of management and engineering experience with the defense electronics industry and intelligence community. He specialized in the design and development of intelligence collection and analysis capabilities and airborne tactical reconnaissance systems. Throughout his career, Mr. Money has been recognized for his vision, leadership, and commitment to excellence.

Money was the 2012 recipient of the Oliver Baker Award which INSA awards annually for sustained and excellent service in Intelligence and national security.

Patrick Gorman

Patrick Gorman serves as the head of strategy and product development for CyberGRX. With 25 years of experience, Gorman has worked in multiple capacities in security, strategy, defense and intelligence practice areas. He recently served as the Chief Security Officer (CSO) for Bridgewater Associates and from 2011 to 2013, Gorman was the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer for Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, where he had oversight of security policy, technology and operations. He honed his expertise at Booz Allen Hamilton as Senior Executive Advisor of Cybersecurity where he was responsible for strategic planning, business development, capability development, marketing and capture management for firm’s cyber portfolio. His rich background stems from holding the position as Asst. Director of National Intelligence and Chief Information Officer for the U.S. Intelligence Community and over ten years in the USAF as part of The National Security Agency/Central Security Service (NSA/CSS.)

Bob Rose

Bob Rose is an internationally recognized cybersecurity expert with proven experience delivering successful risk management and governance strategies to large, complex organizations. He currently serves in various appointed U.S. government advisory positions in the areas of national security, cyber and homeland security. He is a member of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Homeland Security Advisory Council, the National Security Agency’s Cyber Awareness and Response Panel and the Department of State’s International Security Advisory Board.

Dr. Judy Genshaft was named president of the University of South Florida System in 2000, and has led USF to become one of the fastest growing research universities in the nation with a rapidly expanding international reputation for academics, research and innovation.

Genshaft has been instrumental in economic development efforts in the Tampa Bay region, serving as chair of three critical economic development engines: The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, Tampa Bay Partnership and the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100. She has held numerous leadership positions in the Tampa Bay Partnership’s Executive Committee & Council of Governors, High Tech Corridor Council, and the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer & Research Institute’s Board of Directors. Statewide, she is active in the Florida Council of 100’s Board of Directors and Business/Higher Education Partnership Committee. Nationally, Genshaft has served as Chair for the American Council on Education and is a member of the Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities Board of Directors. In 2010, Genshaft made history when she became the first woman to chair the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Board.

Genshaft is one of the region’s most well-regarded leaders. She has been inducted into the 2008 Tampa Bay Business Hall of Fame, recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as the 2007 Business Woman of the Year, and recognized by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Presents Dottie Berger MacKinnon Woman of Influence Award. She has received the Tampa World Trade Center’s Betty Castor Lifetime Achievement Award, Florida Economic Council’s Richard L. McLaughlin Award, was the recipient of the Amiga Award for Non-Hispanic women whose outstanding efforts have improved the quality of life in the Hispanic community and the inaugural Community Sports Leader of the Year Award, Tampa Bay Sneaker Soiree from the Tampa Bay Sports Commission.

Globally, she has been honored with the Global Leadership Award by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirindhorn in Bangkok, Thailand, The Captain of Education Award from Hadassah College in Jerusalem, Israel and as the first woman to receive an honorary doctorate in Literature from Yeungnam University, South Korea.

Genshaft is a native of Ohio and earned her baccalaureate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and both her Masters and Doctoral degrees from Kent State University. The author or co-author of more than 75 journal articles, Genshaft has edited and authored three books on gifted education and intellectual assessment and also contributed chapters, essays and articles to more than 20 books, journals and publications on current topics in higher education leadership.

Colonel Rami Efrati is Founder and President of Firmitas Cyber Solutions, a technology company that delivers unique technological approaches to the security of mission-critical infrastructure and the Internet of things.

Efrati is an expert in cyber technology strategic methods and is the former head of the civilian division of the Israel National Cyber Bureau in the Prime Minister’s Office. He has served in the Israel Defense Forces for more than twenty eight years and commanded numerous prestigious operational and technological positions in military intelligence. Efrati received the Creative Thinking Award from the Director of Military Intelligence.

Efrati also has 18 years of civilian experience and has been involved in entrepreneurial activities with both start-up and established companies in the cyber-security, high tech and bio-technology sectors. He is an advisory board member at Securonix, a security analytics company that provides innovative cyber security capabilities.

Efrati is a Senior Cyber Fellow at the Yuval Ne’eman workshop for science, technology and security at Tel-Aviv University and an associate in the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT).

Richard Caplin is recognized as a leading entrepreneur in Northeast Florida. He has launched and led several organizations, including The HCI Group, the global leader in healthcare IT consulting operating across four continents.

Caplin is the recipient of the 2015 Ernst and Young Florida Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Jacksonville Business Journal’s Ultimate CEO Award and was recognized by Los Angeles County for his civil service. He was named a 2016 “Rising Stars of the Profession—Excellence in Healthcare” winner by Consulting Magazine, a Jacksonville Business Journal 40 Under 40 up-and-coming leader and was selected to participate in the KPMG Quantum Shift program, an elite group of America’s most promising entrepreneurs. For the second year in a row, Caplin was honored in the 2016 University of Florida Gator100 awards, which celebrates the 100 fastest-growing, Gator-owned businesses in the world. Caplin graduated with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Florida. He lives in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife and two children.
