2020: A Banner Year, But We Are Just Getting Started

2020 was a trying year. The global pandemic quite literally turned the world upside down. Organizations were forced to stand up remote work infrastructure overnight, and people across the globe dealt with great uncertainty in how their livelihoods would be impacted.

With the incredible support and tireless effort put forth by our amazing team, we are not just making it through this New Normal, we are growing at an unprecedented rate – and we couldn’t be more proud.

Throughout the year, we realized an impressive 55% YoY growth in ARR, with SaaS bookings increasing by over 200%. Organizations are increasingly realizing the challenges of retrofitting legacy solutions for modern environments. Our Next-Gen SIEM platform built in the cloud, for the cloud, has provided global enterprises exactly what they need in order to secure and gain complete visibility across today’s complex and distributed environments. As a result, our customer base grew by 142% and now includes half of the Global Fortune 10.

We also more than doubled both total revenue and channel sales over the previous year in EMEA and made significant strides in expanding our footprint in the APAC region. This growth is largely due to key hires and newly established global partnerships with companies like Nordlo, First Technology, Cyber Antix, Oesia, Software One and Microland.

Because of our growing success and the explosive demand for the Securonix Next-Gen SIEM platform, we increased our employee headcount by 50% YoY and plan to grow further through 2021. This will go a long way in helping us continue to advance our mission of delivering unmatched security analytics and service to our global customer base.

Despite the culture shock that remote work initially created, the past year has certainly been one to remember, and 2021 is off to a lightning-fast start. We recently announced that Capital One Ventures has agreed to invest $24 million in Securonix in conjunction with a global strategic partnership. This added investment will allow us to propel the company even further, accelerating the hypergrowth we’re experiencing and helping our Next-Gen SIEM platform power more organizations across the world.

Overall, many exciting things have happened over the past year, but we certainly are not done yet. We look forward to continuing to build on this momentum throughout 2021 and beyond.
