Securonix Enhances Europe and MEA Leadership to Support Growing Customer and Partner Demand
London, UK. 10th February 2026 – Securonix, a six-time Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for SIEM, today announced the appointment of Cyrille Badeau as Vice President of EMEA, strengthening the company’s leadership team following its acquisition of ThreatQuotient in 2025.
In this role, Cyrille will be responsible for accelerating Securonix’s growth across the European and MEA (Middle East and Africa) market and expanding the reach of its Unified SIEM platform and threat intelligence capabilities.
Cyrille brings more than two decades of senior leadership experience in cybersecurity, with a proven track record of driving commercial success and building high-performing regional operations. Prior to becoming part of Securonix, Cyrille served as Vice President of International Sales at ThreatQuotient, where he led vendor development strategy across global markets.
Cyrille’s earlier career includes pivotal roles in scaling several major cybersecurity vendors. He launched Sourcefire’s French office in 2006 and, as Director for Southern Europe, oversaw the company’s IDS/IPS portfolio for six years. Following Cisco’s $2.7 billion acquisition of Sourcefire, Cyrille was appointed Cisco’s Cybersecurity Director for Southern Europe. Before that, he played a key role in establishing Webwasher’s French subsidiary in 2002, continuing in a regional leadership role after its acquisition by Cyberguard.
“Across Europe and MEA, organisations are moving beyond broad AI claims and focusing on security approaches that deliver measurable outcomes. Securonix stands apart through deep UEBA expertise combined with the threat intelligence capabilities of ThreatQuotient. Together, this enables behavioural risk detection enriched with real-time intelligence, allowing security teams to prioritise and respond with greater accuracy. My focus is on expanding our regional footprint, strengthening our partner ecosystem, and helping customers drive measurable improvements in detection and response. This is where security operations are heading, and Securonix is well positioned to lead that shift across Europe and MEA,” said Cyrille Badeau, Vice President of EMEA at Securonix.
Cyrille’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Securonix. The company has experienced a year of significant innovation and expansion, including being named a Technology Leader for the fourth consecutive year in the QKS Group’s SPARK Matrix for Digital Threat Intelligence Management, alongside six additional industry awards recognising its leadership in threat detection and response.
The acquisition of ThreatQuotient in June 2025 created one of the industry’s most comprehensive threat detection, investigation, and response portfolios. By combining ThreatQuotient’s deep external intelligence and proven workflows with Securonix AI-powered analytics and real-time detection, the company now delivers a fully integrated Unified SIEM platform that provides unmatched visibility and operational clarity.
Cyrille joins a strengthened leadership team that includes Leon Ward as Chief Transformational Officer, Chris Jacob as Field CISO, Gigi Schumm as SVP of Threat Intelligence, and Matt McCormick as VP Global MSSP, Channels and US Federal.
“Securonix is entering a new phase of global expansion, and Cyrille’s leadership will be instrumental in accelerating our European and MEA strategy,” said Scott Sampson, Chief Revenue Officer of Securonix. “His deep understanding of the European and MEA cybersecurity landscape, combined with his sales and operational experience scaling high‑growth organisations, makes him the ideal leader to drive our next chapter in the region.”
