Securonix has earned a spot on Inc. Magazine’s list of the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S., a significant achievement for a company that has been in business for 15 years, has more than 1000 employees, and crossed into Unicorn status after raising more than $1 billion in a private fundraising round. We are proud to be on this list.

Maintaining rapid and consistent year-over-year growth in the software subscription business requires a relentless focus on existing customer needs while continuing to innovate, bringing new products to market and expanding current platform offerings. At Securonix, we’ve sustained this exponential growth by striking the balance between innovation and continually meeting customer demand while keeping a close eye on gross margins to ensure the company’s valuation continues to grow.

We continue to invest in the people who have driven these organizational accomplishments and fueled our growth, successfully building the best global team across individual business units. In threat research and hunting alone, we have more than 100 people in the company focused on this – several with PhDs – and we’ve used the growth capital to expand our leadership team.

While revenue and funding are important measures of startup success, our real value rests on our ability to innovate and forge partnerships that deliver market-leading products to meet customer needs. This year, Securonix added Open XDR, native SOAR, and Autonomous Threat Sweeper to its portfolio.

Additional product innovation that aligns with customer cloud strategies and overall business needs includes the ‘Bring Your Own AWS’ and Securonix + Snowflake deployment models, delivering advanced threat detection and response without the cost and limitations of traditional SIEM solutions. Looking to future customer needs, Securonix has deepened its relationship with Snowflake, expanding the partnership to include an integration with Zscaler. Recently Securonix introduced Securonix Investigate, a complimentary add-on to the Securonix Next-Gen SIEM platform, which automatically derives context from data repositories both internally and externally while streamlining knowledge sharing. Securonix Investigate helps security teams respond faster to threats, shortening the mean time to respond. Securonix Threat Labs provides up-to-date threat content from the experts at Securonix to help equip our customers and the cybersecurity community with the latest countermeasures and best practices.

Prior to April’s funding round, Securonix had kept outside investments to a minimum. This approach allowed us to make the right decisions for our clients and partners because we weren’t worried – and still aren’t – about quarter-over-quarter pressure from the investment community. We will never lose that mindset. Securonix is dedicated to doing the right thing for our customers and the security community. We believe our vision puts us in a favorable position to be on next year’s Inc. 5000 list.
